Down Syndrome Ireland is a national voluntary organisation whose aim is to support people with Down Syndrome and their families.
The organisations main focuses are on healthcare, education, early development, speech and language therapy, counselling and independence.
Currently there are over 3500 members and 26 local branches nationwide. Yearly, it is necessary to raise 95% of the over €3 million it costs to enable Down Syndrome Ireland continue to provide these essential services it now offers.
You too can help by taking part in the Purple Run on March 24th which will celebrate World Down Syndrome day on March 21st.
