November, or Movember as it’s now known has become a month where the men of Ireland take on the challenge of growing a beard and in doing so raising funds to help in the battle against cancer.
Fact! Men die an average of six years younger than women, and mostly for reasons that are preventable.
Here are some tips to change and live a healthier and longer life
Once you hit the 50 mark, make an appointment and talk to your GP about prostate cancer. Discuss when is the right time to have a PSA test.
Get active. Get moving on a daily basis, if even for only 20 to 30 minutes, it all makes a difference.
Check your testicles regularly, and its something doesn’t feel right, go see your GP.
